There was a real buzz in the air as local businesses, community leaders and event professionals gathered to celebrate the official VIP Networking Night Launch of Bollerang House. The evening marked an exciting new chapter for our beautiful Shoalhaven venue, bringing together some of the region’s most passionate people across the wedding, events, accommodation and hospitality industries.
We’d like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us for the evening, including Mayor Patricia White from Shoalhaven City Council, our wonderful vendors, local businesses, accommodation providers, community organisations, members of the Shoalhaven Food Network, and Apple Tree Catering for the delicious and unforgettable food.
With over 100 guests from across the region in attendance, the launch of Bollerang House was filled with lively conversations, new connections and a wonderful sense of community.
A wonderful start to the evening
The event began with a Welcome to Country by Keiron Brown, Traditional Owner of the Yuin Nation, who shared his connection to the land and acknowledged the cultural significance of the area. It was a thoughtful and meaningful way to open the evening and recognise the rich history of the place we were gathering on.
The story behind Bollerang House
Guests then heard from Jenny, Head of Marketing, and Anthony, General Manager, who shared the story behind the venue’s transformation and the decision to rebrand from Parsons Events to Bollerang House.
They spoke about the inspiration behind the new name and what it represents for the venue moving forward. Bollerang reflects the rich history of the property and its connection to the local area, grounding the venue in a strong sense of place while introducing a refreshed identity.
The change to Bollerang House marks an exciting new chapter for the venue , building on its established reputation while embracing a renewed vision as a standout destination for functions, events and gatherings across the Shoalhaven.
A Special Shoutout
Events like this don’t come together without the support of many talented people, and we’d like to recognise just a few who helped make the evening so special.
Guests enjoyed beautiful catering by Apple Tree Catering, whose flavours and presentation were a highlight of the night.
The 360° Video Experience by Bella at Showtime PhotoBooth & Event Hire added a fun interactive touch, while Nik from We Play Records provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening.
The night was also beautifully captured by Vanessa from Mi Vida Studio and Spencer from Love of Mine, whose photography and videography showcased the atmosphere of the launch and the charm of Bollerang House as a venue for weddings, celebrations and special events.
A little something to take home
Guests also received gift bags as a thank you for being part of the launch. Inside was a delicious tomato relish by Apple Tree Catering, along with a beautiful Bollerang House candle sourced from Imagine Homewares and Hampers.
The candles proudly support Greenacres Disability Services, helping provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability, a cause we’re proud to support.

The VIP Networking Night was more than just a launch, it was a celebration of the Shoalhaven’s vibrant events community and the incredible businesses that help create memorable experiences across the region.
